Five recent announcements have had a substantial impact on my productivity since the holidays:
1. GMail - now able to send and store huge size files, with great sorting capablity.
2. MSN and Google Desktop Search engines - found files I had totally forgotten.
3. Picasa2 - easy, free image editing and photo album software - slideshows, red eye, and collages.
4. Answers.com - click for access to spelling, thesauras, and encyclopedic information.
5. Mozilla Firefox - if you have folders on your link bar, you can automatically have all their items open at once in separate tabs. Great for multiple mail accounts or search engines.
